'Tricks' at KINO Cinema Cork

Good news for all of you who missed our screenings of Tricks in Cineworld earlier in the year. Beginning this Friday 22nd August you can catch it in the KINO Cinema in Cork.
Redolent of the early films of Milos Forman and Jiri Menzel and with compelling performances by non-professional actors, Tricks has a warm but poignant authenticity. Director Andrzej Jakomiski's unique take on working class life in an otherwise drab mining town is shaped with the aid of Adam Bajerski's gorgeous, dappled gold lensing and Tomasz Gassowski's alternately jazzy and melancholy score.

Czwórka przyjaciół, dwie dziewczyny i dwóch chłopaków, wyrusza do opuszczonej fabryki na Dolnym Śląsku, gdzie rok wcześniej zaginął Adam, brat jednej z uczestniczek wyprawy - Joanny. Jednocześnie, do pobliskiego szpitala psychiatrycznego w charakterze asystentów trafia „trudna młodzież" z poprawczaka... Brzmi jak zapowiedź horroru? To jest całkiem niezły, polski horror!
