Aprill, 24 th 2008, Eye Cinema Galway. Polishfilmclub.com screened its second Polish movie 'Sztuczki'. The event proved to be extremely popular, with all tickets sold, hours before the screening. The EYE is a beautiful intimate venue and the movie was seen by over 60 spectators. Many of the audience were Polish but many Irish cinephilies were present to see the best in Polish cinema.

'When I was looking at the screen I did not feel I am in the cinema. It is just like I was touching Poland in Galway.', said Shane who had never seen Polish movie before. 'I know a few cities in Poland... Kraków, Wrocław but I saw the other side of that country. More realistic... Sometimes you can lose the thread but I definitely want to watch another Polish movie in Galway!'

And Shane will have the opportunity to do this. Richard Carolan, managing director of Polishfilmclub told us that next screening in Galway will be in in May. Polishfilmclub.com will be screening Jeszcze Raz - one of the most popular romantic comedies in Poland this year.
